Senior Pablo deTimofeev decided last summer that he would not take the traditional route after high school graduation. DeTimofeev, who stands out due to the black leather jacket and boots he commonly wears, says he is “meant for bigger and better.” Instead of heading to college this fall, deTimofeev is starting an online business that he plans to fund through modeling.
“I'm doing what I love and I feel great emotionally,” deTimofeev said. “I can't say school ever gave me that same feeling.”
DeTimofeev is glad he will not be tied down by student debt in the years to come. He wants to take advantage of his youth, but he also has a mission. He stresses that too many people are caught in mundane routine, and it is his long-term goal to teach others to live adventurously.
“Sooner or later we all realize what we're meant to do,” deTimofeev said. “I was just fortunate enough to figure that out this early.”
