With only a handful of matches left in the season and a record of 5-5, the girl’s tennis team is looking to make this season count.
“We are hoping to finish the season off strong and hopefully make it to the playoffs,” junior Samantha Goldstein said.
After losing to Menlo Atherton, the tennis team is looking to bounce back and prepare for the other teams ahead.
Because the team is smaller this year compared to others, they have a stronger sense of community. Adding on, this year their biggest strength is their motivation in every match according to Caitlyn Rusley.
The team is currently seated number four in the league and soon may rise up.
“There is a lot less pressure because we aren’t the number one team in the league,” senior Caitlyn Rusley said.
Nerves are at an all-time high as Pacific Athletic League playoffs approach on Oct. 25, and the season comes to an end.
