After taking one loss against Menlo-Atherton at home on Sept. 18th and suffering another frustrating defeat at the PAL Bay opener against Half Moon Bay on Oct. 13, the Panthers are hoping to bounce back from their mid-season slump with a victory against Sacred Heart Prep.
“[HMB] was a tough loss,” said senior Sauvan Brown, the varsity co-captain. “But we’ve been really determined to improve our endurance, especially at the end of the season.”
Standouts like senior Carlo Lopiccolo and junior Joe Villalobos have helped push the team’s potential to break through rivals’ defensive lines, but the team as a whole is ready to take a hardline approach to the last games of the season, including the Little Big Game.
After their game against Terra Nova was canceled due to poor air quality, the Panthers began preparing to come back home for a game against SHP, which will take place on Oct. 27th.
