Girls soccer senior night ends in a tie

The girls varsity soccer team tied its senior night game 0-0 against the Terra Nova tigers Feb. 15.

“My favorite part of the season was playing Terra Nova,” senior Grace Colson said. “It's always such a competitive game it and just really fun to be apart of and experience. It was also a very emotional game since for some of us seniors that was the last time we'll be playing soccer.”

Overall, the girls are impressed with the team’s growth and happy with how the season turned out.

“We improved our communication a ton this season,” senior Samantha Aspin said. “As the season went on, we all became very close and built close friendships. I think that reflected on the field.”

Different from last year, the team competed in the highest league this season and played each team in the division three times.

The girls ended the season with a 5-4-6 record. The team was one win away from qualifying for the CCS playoffs this season.
