Limon Rotisserie
Limon Rotisserie
Limon Rotisserie, a Peruvian restaurant situated at the corner of Burlingame Ave. and California Drive, offers some unique features in its pandemic-adapted dining experience. For starters, Limon has opened its doors to both indoor and outdoor seating. For outdoor seating, some of Limon’s tables are even separated by plexiglass, which is an extremely safe offering. Tables are situated about six feet apart from one another and customers are a significant nine feet away from passerby, a number that increases if diners choose Limon’s street extension area. This distance from the sidewalk exceeds all other restaurants that the Burlingame B has reviewed thus far. Limon also goes above and beyond with touchless, digital menus that are available through a QR code. Safety precautions inside the restaurant, however, were mediocre, with some ventilation in the form of open windows, but more crowding overall — as the CDC recommends, it’s best to stay away from indoor dining if possible. Furthermore, Limon’s line to enter the building left much to be desired: no spacing, marking or organization could be observed, and the line simply protruded along the sidewalk. All in all, though, Limon scored a ‘B+’, mainly due to its exceptional outdoor eating environment.
