Este mes de enero hubo una reunión donde varios  padres vinieron a involucrarse en la escuela y se enteraron sobre las nuevas noticias que están ocurriendo.

La reunión incluyó información sobre la eliminación del examen nivel estatal CAHSEE, actividades del segundo semestre de la escuela (incluyendo el baile Winter Formal, semana de seniors y, la feria de materias electivas).

La reunión incluso repaso estrategias para los padres de cómo ayudar a sus hijos en la escuela y involucrarse con sus actividades. Las estrategias mencionadas incluyen recomendaciones de estar informados con nuevas noticias en Schoolloop, también recomendaron que si su estudiante no se siente bien que se quede en casa y entreguen sus tareas el dia despues para no contagiar a los demas estudiantes y tambien para que se pongan mejor y releven un poco de estrés.

Una de las madres del grupo la señora Alexandra Beacon Cudos habló sobre porqué es importante que los padres participen en el grupo latino Cudos dijo, “el crecimiento de los ninos se debe a la participación de los padres en la escuela.”

No es muy tarde para participar en las vidas de los estudiantes y involucrarse. Habrá otra reunión el mes de febrero para todos. Esta reunión repasará información sobre cómo los jóvenes son clasificados como aprendedores de ingles, becas y, fechas especificas sobre cuando los estudiantes elijan sus classes para el año que viene.

La líder de este grupo la Señora Valerie Arbizu dijo, “si tienen alguna duda pueden llamarnos a nosotros.”

The group of Latino parents and students that meets once a month is an opportunity for Spanish-speaking families to keep track of events that are happening at school and to follow all the academic changes occurring in the lives of students.
This January there was a meeting where several parents came to get involved and learned about the changes occurring within the school.
The meeting included information on the elimination of the statewide CAHSEE for students who graduate in future years, activities of the second semester of school (including the Winter Formal dance, seniors week and electives fair).
The meeting also went over strategies for parents to help their children in school and involved with their activities. The strategies mentioned include recommendations to be ahead with School Loop also recommended that your child does not feel right to stay at home and give their work the day after to avoid spreading it to other students and also to be put better and relieve some stress.
A group of mothers Mrs. Alexandra Beacon Cudos spoke about why it is important that parents participate in Cudos Latino group said, “The growth of children is due to the involvement of parents in school.”
It is not too late to participate in the lives of students and engage. There will be another meeting in February for all. This meeting will review information on how young people are classified as learners of English, scholarships and specific about when students choose their classes for next year dates.
The leader of this group Ms. Valerie Arbizu said, “if they have questions can call us.”
