Mingalaba, a popular Burlingame restaurant serving Burmese cuisine, shows many strengths in its safety policies. For one, its entire interior is dedicated to pick-up, take-out, or delivery services, providing a functional, efficient way for customers to receive their food. All staff don masks and gloves when serving and preparing food, as well as taking orders. Outside dining is also well-executed — customers are able to sit in sectioned-off tables facing away from each other, ensuring a safe experience. At every table, diners are provided with a hand sanitizer bottle for even more precaution. However, Mingalaba is not perfect in customer safety; the restaurant does not offer contactless payment and the inside waiting area is, though very spacious, unmarked. Overall, Mingalaba’s standards went above and beyond expectations, landing it an “A-” in the ratings.
