Students represent U.S. at international AI summit in Italy
The Association of Latin American Students (ALAS) held its first meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 15, where they presented an introductory slideshow and offered burritos. On the slideshow, the club wrote they are “dedicated to representing and supporting students who identify as Latinx, as well as those connected to Latin America through ancestry, personal history, or interest.”

Jason Lu is a sophomore at Burlingame High School and a first year journalism student. He is excited to find out new things about people and improve his writing skills. Outside of school, he likes to play Badminton and water polo, spend time with friends and family, and work out. He looks forward to collaborating with members of the B and learning more about them.
