Each locker depicts different regions of the world and different cultures in an attempt to represent the diversity of Burlingame. Speakers at the Board meeting expressed the need for cultural and ethnic representation in order to make students feel included. 

*note: The artist chose to represent cultures broadly but was unable to include all cultures. She appreciates and recognizes the need for representation and attempted to do so through nonspecific symbols for geographical regions.
