The Association of Latin American Students (ALAS) held its first meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 15, where they presented an introductory slideshow and offered burritos. On the slideshow, the club wrote they are “dedicated to representing and supporting students who identify as Latinx, as well as those connected to Latin America through ancestry, personal history, or interest.”

Will Kriner is a senior at BHS, and this is his third year in Journalism. He is eager to further improve his skills this year by writing and editing articles for the Burlingame B and working with his peers. Outside of school, he enjoys listening to music, playing basketball, watching TV shows, and hanging out with his friends.
