Leadership Movie Night

Burlingame High School’s leadership class is holding a movie night this Friday, December 9 from 7 to 9 p.m., in hopes of spreading a bit of holiday cheer! The movie night will be kicking off the holiday season with the showing of the film “Elf” in the BHS theatre.

Leadership’s Fundraising Commissioners Nicole Malik and Priya Koliwad are the hosts of the event. The two have been working endlessly to prepare a fun and enjoyable night for everyone. Malik stated, “The goal of our movie night is to get people in the holiday spirit before the stress of finals, as well as raise money for student activities and clubs.”

Aside from the movie itself, the Animal Rights Club, ODFL Club, Days for Girls Club, and Mental Health Awareness Club will also be selling baked goods, donuts, and smoothies to help raise money for their groups. The Leadership class itself will also be selling concessions as well. So be sure to show some support by buying some of their delicious baked goods.

Everyone is encouraged to “bring pillows, blankets, and dress up in their favorite holiday attire!” stated Priya Koliwad. The two Fundraising Commissioners invite everyone to come down and join the fun this Friday! So, if you have not already marked the day off on your calendar, be sure to do so!
