Exploring Tech teacher Robert Scialanga will retire after teaching at Burlingame for three years.

In addition to teaching Exploring Tech, Scialanga serves as the Robotics Club supervisor after school once a week. In both roles, he enjoys teaching students to code and digitally design innovative projects for his students.

“I love interacting with others and watching students grow,” Scialanga said.

Scialanga is loved by his students and will be missed for his life stories and advice.

“Mr. Scialanga has been a great teacher and mentor to me,” said senior Nicholas Cerelli.

During his retirement, Scialanga plans to spend time with his two daughters and grandkids as well as travel the world with his wife.
